The Advertiser Foundation was a proud supporter of The Advertiser's For Pete's Sake campaign, shining a light on drought affected communities in SA. The campaign culminated in a 'Peter Party' at Peterborough in the mid-North with a willing band of helpers from The Tiser, SA Gov, community organisations and the SA business community putting their collective shoulder to the wheel to put on a day to remember. Together we're providing much-needed funds to help sporting clubs, community groups and schools around the state keep kids who are affected by drought connected to their communities. Huge shout out to the Australian Hotels Association SA, the Nunn Dimos Foundation, Elders, Detmold Group, Galipo Foods, Piccadilly Natural Springs Water, RAA, Rural Business Support, The Property Council SA, Dihiba DFG Investments, Santos, Lion, Fine Food Cucina, Thomas Foods International, Vilis, West End, Timpecha Foods, PFD Food Services, Bunzl, Bidfood, The Adelaide 36-ers, Lions, Rotary, Uniting Country, Premier Peter Malinauskas, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, Tony Modra and Les Burdett - and the South Australian Cricket Association for sending the Sheffield Shield along - as well as others who preferred to remain anonymous but who have made a great impact. Peterborough and other regional communities have sent a heartfelt thank you!
